The Crew

Michael Michael J. Sharp
Dubbed the Evil Super Hero by friends for his penchant for getting them to leave work to play and explore the world. Michael has dreamed of this adventure since the age of 15, when looking at boats on Lake Michigan with his mother who told him about people who sailed across oceans in small boats. "You can do that?" he said. "Yep, you can do anything you put your mind to" she replied.

Michael, an avid climber, sailor, telemark skier, kayaker and mountain biker who is head over heels in love with Susanna. He has a weakness for good food, and seeing what is around the next bend. He is known to carry what he calls "Snobby Salt"* in a little tin in his pocket. "Yumm. It tastes so good!"

Nisa Nisa the Wonderdog
Adventure Dog Extraordinaire. Nisa is a Samoyed who thinks that the whole world would be best frozen and covered in snow. She loves to sit and sniff the air as it goes by and has a particular weakness for salmon, strawberries and cheese. She is at home snuggling under the covers on a cold night as she is bounding over boulders on some mega-hike. Her only dislike are people who don't like her and days where Susanna and Michael work in front of a computer for hours at a time. If you listen carefully on such a day you can hear her saying "Boooooorrrrrrinnnnggggg".

*Snobby salt is Fleur de Sel...Fancy French Sea Salt that a good friend George Russell introduced to him.
