Kerplunk....
Swimming is good,
Swimming is great.
Don't swim if it's
too late
or if
you just cleaned
your plate.
Swim in the sun,
Swim for fun.
Swim in the buff,
but not when it's rough.
Swim to stay trim...
Put on your Coppertone,
but at home,
leave the cell phone.
The phone,
it fell,
out of her pocket,
and down the well.
Where it did sink.
Deep into the drink.
Taking with it
your numbers,
all three.
So if you want to talk,
that's great,
Send your number so we don't wonder,
was that six, seven or eight......
Don't hesitate,
don't make us wait,
send your numbers,
tell us what happened on your date.
Susanna dropped the phone in the drink,
now we have to find all the numbers of
our far off friends.

I feel so much better. I was the mate on the Samarium, Mike Downing sister vessel to yours, from May 26th to July 15th and I dropped my cell phone in the waters of South Pender May 27th. The phone was all set up to work from an antenna hiked up the mast and was a tri-mode phone. I couldn't get another one from the insurance company until we were back in the U.S. Good sailing Mike

My friend, Liz, dropped hers in the toilet bowl! Bottom line: don't get them wet!!! and if you do get them wet - don't turn them on!!!! Let a professional deal with it!
