Don't miss 'em!

Seems rare anymore to watch a movie you enjoy so much you want to tell the world. And in the last week we've seen TWO:

1) KINKY BOOTS: The box says "If you liked 'The Full Monty' and 'Calendar Girls' you'll love this!" It's true, and it's possible we liked this one even more than the others. It's about a small shoe factory forced to find a niche market in order to survive. The drag performances are fabulous. The whole thing is just great fun, so check it out!

2) THE LONG WAY ROUND: A 2-disc documentary series following actors Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman on their motorcycle journey from London to New York, the long way 'round. Talk about an adventure! We noticed a lot of parallels to our own journey in terms of basic human limitations and trepidation about what lay ahead. If you like real-life adventure, you'll enjoy this a lot.
